Transmark Turkey’s subsdiary Transmark Turkey Gülpinar Renewable Energy Production Industry and Trade Inc. completed the construction of the 3.2 MW ORC geothermal power plant in Canakkale, Turkey.
The plant was provided by Chinese company Zhejiang Kaishan Compressor Co. with Open Mountain Energy (Eurasia) Pte. Ltd. An EPC contract with both parties was signed in November 2019, as we reported.
As the company announced the plant called Transmark GPP in Canakkale Ayvacik was completed last week and the acceptance procedures were made by the ministry.
Transmark GPP includes many innovations in terms of environmental precautions and technologies used. The system, which consists of one production and one injection well, eliminates its environmental effects with zero CO2 emissions due to its closed cycle. In terms of the management of the reservoir, the closed-loop system makes the reservoir sustainable by injecting all of the produced fluid into the reservoir.
